Brother John Kunch has been a lifelong member of COGOP. Him alongside his beautiful wife, Sue, have served in various areas in the church. Some of those being Children’s ministry, Deacon, missions, refugee work and currently LCC’s food bank. As a child brother John’s father always instilled in him to be conscious of those less fortunate. In 1995 he was blessed with the opportunity to spend his 40th birthday in flight to Kiev, Ukraine on his first mission trip. Serving and helping people, especially those who have nothing to give back brought a sense of fulfillment he could not get enough of. He organized a youth trip to a Feed My Starving Children food packing event where they were able to feed several near-death children.
Brother John’s superpower is freezing time and he enjoys using this superpower to capture joyous moments in photographs. He also enjoys spending time with family and friends, reading books, visiting new place, eating new foods, hunting, fishing and searching for artifacts.
